The Day the World Stopped
Our experience of reality is a prismatic generation of light(Awareness) filtered through your mental modifications.
These modification are the sum total of our individual experiences, impressions, social / cultural conditionings, and present state of our nervous system.
As Mystics we learn to meditate.
When we meditate, we gradually begin to focus our attention, energy, and awareness in a single direction.
As a result, our perception of the world begins to slow down.
The world is not a fixed static place.
It is a dream.
Both a shared and collective dream.
This dream, is fluid.
Humans have forgotten this fluidity and become fixed as a result of our relationship to our selves, nature, and our essence.
All spiritual traditions have this practice of meditation in common.
Why?
Because it brings us back to a state of stillness.
In the stillness, we experience Light.
Light is fluid and as we begin to place our attention on Light, we become more fluid in the process.
When we become fluid, we move through life and allow the ups & downs to pass through us.
The alternative is to become solid, and rather than passing through them, we run into them.
When we run into them, we become entangled.
When we become entangled, we over identify and begin to suffer.
As a result, the more fixed and convinced you are with “what & how reality is,” the less fluid you to navigate.
This is how & why we suffer.
Because we have forgotten how to be fluid and are not in the flow of Dharma & Truth.
I want to share a story of how my teacher ingrained this teaching within me.
In 2018, I showed up to class with my teacher and Sangha.
Little did I know what he was about to shatter my world.
We were finishing class with our last meditation of the night and we just looked at me and slightly cocked his head.
The world began to flash black & white rapidly like looking into a strobe light.
Then the world stopped.
Pure void.
There was no light, no sense of I, no mind, just pure liminal consciousness.
Wareness without a individual perceiver.
In that space, a thought was generated. "Nirvakulpa Samadhi”
This while true began the decent of duality.
Hundreds little flashes of starlight began to break through the veil dimmely.
The wareness began to focus on one.
My attention began to zoom towards this star light, and upon entering it creation formed.
I became the creation and the creator.
Light appeared, the above and the below separated.
Molecules and atoms began to form and I watched as the subtle became the most fixed.
Material reality came into existence, structure and form solidified.
I was present in my body once again.
No thought, no mind, no identity, just a perception of the world from this body.
My teacher was laughing at me knowing what he just sent me through.
The meditation ended and I was unable to move or think. I had a perception that something was going on, but there was not anything inside of me that desired to participate and leave this stillness.
It took about 15-20 minutes for my mind to remember how to generate thought.
another 5-10 to relearn how to move by body.
I imagine it to be like being struck by lightening….
A complete hard reset to the body & consciousness.
I had to be driven home that night because my motor skills were still coming back online.
The next week, we discussed what had occurred.
“when you go into eternity, it becomes less jarring each time and what returns is more of the true you each time.”
This is what Mystical Meditation gives you at both the beginner and advanced levels.
You become fluid, and become more of who & what you are…
An infinite eternal being living a finite lifetime.
You are a spark of eternity and this spark has a unique and individual vibration to it.
This is the True You, beyond the conditioning & static illusions that the world distorts.
Mystical Meditation is the bridge to realizing this for yourself first hand.
There are several spaces left for the Mystical Foundations program which begins Monday.
You are invited to join.
