Personal Power & Spiritual Sovereignty
The assassination of Charlie Kirk this week highlights one of the most important aspects of mysticism which is the collective dream of our shared reality. In a matter of hours the passing of an individual sparked a wildfire of outrage online.
Lines were drawn, sides were taken, and the waterfall of rhetoric as to whether he deserved it or why it happened in the first place.
To the individual who considers oneself aware and conscious, we should examine these types of events and look at the gravitational effect they have on the collective consciousness.
Narrative and story create a center of reality to unfold around. This happens every day, and the more you pay attention, the more it happens moment to moment.
The mystic, being a sovereign being who seeks to awaken the full power and potential of their awareness, can notice the tides of realities being born and choose to engage or let them pass.
This is critical in the practice of wakefulness and spiritual sovereignty to notice when a gravitational force is pulling you into a dramatic narrative thus forgetting oneself.
This could be your own thoughts, mind, or trauma. It might also be emotional and mental outbursts directed at you by others trying to enroll you in what they care about or deem important.
As human beings, we have the power to create and destroy, to bless or curse, to praise or tear down. What dictates our ability to choose is our stillness, our clarity of mind, recognizing and dissolving externally imposed conditioning, and the impressions we pick up believing they are our own when in reality they were projected onto the waters of our consciousness.
The key factor here is our level of personal power and to the extent we allow ourselves to become accessible by other people.
Personal power is built through the cultivation of will, discipline, and follow through. Doing what we say we will do for example, is one way we build our will, by acting on the words we have spoken thus bringing the immaterial structure of our voice into physical form through action.
Cultivating a daily personal practice is another way we build personal power. More importantly, doing the practice as perfect as possible with a clear mind. In mysticism, Perfect Practice Perfects Perfection. There is no practice makes perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect. The art of practice is to perfect the craft as mindfully as you can each day with complete presence, attention and focus.
That is willpower in action.
Presence, Attention, Focus and follow-through on intention.
The mystic meditates in Light on a daily basis and gains access to a infinite well of energy. When we meditate on the chakras or the power centers in the body, we infuse those spheres of consciousness with Light which first activates them and then ultimately they open.
As a mystic cultivates more awareness of their consciousness and the many facets of their attention, they begin to see how much their life has been influenced by outside forces.
The implementation of boundaries physical or energetic, is a mechanism and practice that oneself creates to give oneself space to grow expand and develop.
Knowing how, when, or where to implement those boundaries is part of the experience of the journey and learning to cultivate of consciousness in oneself's life.
Everyone being in different places in their own life and journey will have different levels of understanding, depth or tolerance when they come across you setting boundaries and levels of access to you.
If someone ignites anger or frustration at you because they do not get their way, you do not adopt their same world view or cause, this is not a you problem.
We can look through the lens of empathy and compassion and simply bless them while holding true in our sovereignty and boundaries.
Your only responsibility is to yourself and the way you wish to act in the world. Never to the cult of the mob.
If you are at a stage in your life, where you are cultivating more awareness in your life, expanding your consciousness and developing your mystical abilities...
I'd like to invite you to join the Mystical Foundations program which starts at the end of the month.
It is an 8 week journey to cultivate a mystical meditation practice and mystical perspective of oneself's life. We anchor ourselves during this time into the core practice of going into Light in our meditations, and bring that energy and clarity into our daily life as we amplify our personal power and establish stronger energetic boundaries so we can stay more true to ourself.
