How to get off the Hamster-wheel of New Age Spirituality

From the ages of 18-23, I started having a series of mystical & psychic experiences that stirred what I call “The Heart of the Seeker.”

This is both a innate impulse that the being carries with it lifetime to lifetime during the alchemical process of the soul’s evolution, and psyche driven response from this childhood/teenage development process from this lifetime.

Something inside of us knows that there is more to life than what we have been prescribed by society, culture, and the “authority,” structures of this world. Our Spirit desires to be expressed, and our hearts ache to know the truth of our Essence.

Everything in our maturation phase of childhood to early adulthood is focused on the development of our ego, our mind, and our personality. Western society forgoes the development of the most intimate part of our nature, our essence.

We have both a individual essence which is unique to us, which is also folded into the fabric of the quintessence which all beings share. The drop in the ocean is only separate when it has a individual structure and form to inhabit, but it still is apart of the ocean.

This is the the awakening process, the cultivation of the individual essence & self sovereignty while simultaneously expanding one’s awareness to realize the ocean as a whole and then the ocean in the drop.

The New Age spiritual systems and marketplaces are focused on selling you a high, a state change, a never ending healing cycle, and a narrative that is devoid of morals, ethics and values.

It always seems to be focused on getting you to come to the next ceremony, the next retreat, the next extravaganza without actually leading you inward.

You know what I’m talking about, you can see the people care more about dressing and looking the part rather than embodying the presence that transformation brings.

There is no truth in that, it is simply spiritual cosplay. To be fair, I enjoy the dress up and the cosplay, but its critical to our growth and healing to understand that it is just simply that.

Making the leap from Spiritual Seeker to a Mystic is the first step in getting off the New Age Hamsterwheel.

When I say Mystic, I dont mean “crystals and tarot Instagram Mystic”.
(PS - I love meditating with crystals)
I mean someone who has direct experience and knowledge of Light consistently.

During the establishment of Mystical Awareness, one begins to realize that our awareness is pure light, and our perception is being filtered through mental modifications of the mind which create space from experience the Light directly.

This is where we begin to move from sentience into mysticism without cultural dogma.

This can be a long or as short of a journey as you want it to be.
The key is you are learning to become fluid like light and water, rather than static and fixed.

When you begin to meditate in Light daily in varying degrees of depth, you become fluid as a result of burning off impressions and mental structure that are not aligned with your true essence.

This ultimately becomes the revealing of your Dharma, your purpose, the Truth of your Life.

When you align with that, you evolve, grow, transform and blossom the golden flower that is within your heart. Your life becomes the nectar that overflows with art, beauty, and creation.
